My Pink Stamper Father's Day Challange..

Ok so today I worked on this card and FINALLY had the chance to use the Stamps from Pink Stamper. I LOVE how they fit with the cards :) I had this fun sparkle paper I decided to use as sand and this wavy paper that looked like water! I made a sandcastle and this little crab from create a critter cartridge. I also used the clouds from the same cartridge. I still have to say this is my favorite cartridge to date. I am however, going to get the Cindy Loo cartridge as soon as I can. It looks like it has so many adorable cuts.

Operation Write Home

Hi everyone! I wanted to participate in the OWH blog hophttp://www.owhstarsandstamps.org/ but my daughter is here for a visit! I am writing this quick note so I can also post my card! This card is made for my brother. He is now in Afghanastan and I miss him very much. He has an 8 year old daughter that just lights up my life. I know its hard on the both of them when daddy is deployed. My son is also in the army and is back from his first tour in Iraq. He will be deployed again by the end of the year.

I never thought much about Memorial day until my son joined the army and I joined the proud band of Military Moms and dads. When I knew my baby was in harms way I just was so terrified and proud at the same time. I knew what he was doing and what it was for. I have never been so proud in my life. Then my brother followed in line and joined and now I am just so proud of them both. No words will ever be able to tell them how much I appreciate everything they do. Now when I see a soldier out someplace I try to make a point to walk up to him or her and tell them Thank you for all they do!

So with that said and before I start crying here is my card and a picture of my son! Enjoy!!

Ok so I am going to enter this card into the cricut cardz challange this week :) I LOVE lady bugs so I decided to make two of them with flower brads as the dots on the back :) I also used some very fine glitter on the words :) I am going to give this as a thank you card to one of my wonderful friends who is always their for me no matter what! I am sorry I have no idea what the name of this paper is I just loved it for the little flowers :)

Wonderful Hubby!!

Tonight I got a BIG surprise when I got home from my Greeting card workshop :) My wonderful husband got me my very own Gypsy!!!!!!!!! OHHHHHHHHH MAN!!!!!!!!!! I am so excited!! Going to have to try it out!! YEAHHHHHH!! Anyone have tips to offer?? hehe.. I cant wait! Here are a couple of pictures from our honey moon in Nov. 2009!

My Sunshine

I have been married to the most wonderful man in the world. He works hard to support me and our home and I love him for it even more. He really is my sunshine. I have fibromyalgia and he is always so understanding on days I dont feel like moving. He cares when I dont feel all that great. So since I couldnt sleep I wanted to do something nice for him. So I baked him some muffins and put them in a gift bag I made :) And made him this cute card....

Challange me Monday #11 at Fantabulous Cricut 3 flowers

I love the challange this week :) You have to use 3 flowers to qualify. I love doing flowers! However, tonight I wanted to make more than just flowers so I made this cute little card because its all so lovable! So with that said I hope you like my card! I used the sentimentals cartridge for the shape of the card and then switched to using create a critter for all the rest of the items :) The card is 5 1/4 and umm hmm I will get the hang of this some day I hope :) Its so hard to get the cards to look good on film any suggestions? The owl has stickles on his wings and so does the lady bug and the word bug. Well I hope you like it :)

I made this card tonight with my new Hello Kitty cartridge.. The card itself was a cut from the Sentimentals cartridge. I love Hello Kitty!! The little butterflies on this card are a bit 3d not sure how well it will show in pictures. I also used lots of stickles! I cant get enough Bling!

Baby Emmalyn

Our baby Emmalyn has arrived! She was born on 05/20/10 at 2:57 and weighed in at 6lbs and 9 ozs! I am so glad to have a new cousin and was so thankful that both mommy and daughter are just fine and will be going home tomorrow!

She is about an hour old in these pictures :) My niece Joanna (8) was a little jealous but I think my daughter (18) was even more jealous she wouldnt even hold the baby LOL! Its nice to be loved :)

Operation Write Home

I found this blog on accident as I was trying to sort all the webpages and figure out what I am doing here :) This website (I think I understand it correctly) lets you make cards and leave the message part blank so that the soldiers can get these cards and send them home to their families!! I think this is an AWESOME idea. I have a son who just finished a tour in Iraq and now my brother is in afghanastan.

So, the quest (thats what I am going to call it) was to do something with stars! Right now I am all about my Pooh cartridge its so much fun! So I thought a nice card with Pooh and Tiger sleeping outside under the big tree....

The little pieces were lots of work but in the end now that its all together its worth it!

Baby Emmalyn!!

My cousin is due this week and she wanted me to make this for her :) I did of course add my own touches for it! She said baby Emmalyn's favorite color is purple :)

Bags, Boxes and More :)

I made this bag using the cartridge Once Upon a Princess and then used the Create a critter on the card also. Thank you for a fun challange. I stickled around all the flowers in black (doesnt show up well in photos) and on the butterfly. I used a marker around the I heart you!

Cricut Crawl :)

I can tell you I worked for a few hours on this one.. Maybe 5-6 hours LOL! Ok so ... I think I got all the elements EXCEPT the etched glass :)

Ok I am going to enter this card also LOL I dont know if there is a limit but I love them all and cant decide which is the best! TO ME they are all my best LOL ... Should I know anything about this? I feel like I lost.

Hi everyone! I love my cricut and have had so much fun learning how to use it! Once you get it figured out the first time its so much easier. Dont let the cricut scare you. It is not complicated at all and you can make the most awesome cards!

I am just starting so my cards will get better with time!
